Since launched in the virtual world in March 2006, Twitter has never mentioned of the bird name of the Twitter's logo. But since the tweet was written by one of the employees of this microblogging site at some time ago, the public finally know the name of the bird. It is the product manager of Platform / API Ryan Sarver who spit that the bird's name is Larry.
Sarver post a photo of the meeting show Twitter. In that tweet, he included photographs crative director Douglas Bowman who was analyzing the evolution of the Twitter logo.
"Going over Design @ Twitter. The evolution of the Larry Bird the Movie," writes Sarver as reported by DailyMail.
It's also attracted the attention of their audiences and requested more information about it. When he asked by a technology writer Samuel Arbesman about the species of the Twitter bird , Sarver just answered, "That's confidential,".The secret behind the origin of the name is still a mystery. But some speculation said, Larry is taken from 'Larry Bird'. He was NBA legend who also played for the Boston Celtics basketball club, the home of co-founder of Twitter Biz Stone.
